Sarah’s Cornell Graduation photography session

I was so thrilled when Sarah contacted me to schedule her Cornell PhD graduation photography session – I am always so honored to capture and share such important moments of a person’s life! And then she told me the shoot will be her present to her mom, for her continued support throughout the years and for always pushing her to be her best, and let me tell you, I was just gushing with excitement.

For the photography session, we decided on doing a little bit of everything to capture the memories – some classic, timeless in-studio shots, and some outdoor portraits on Cornell campus, including at the school she was spending all her time at. And then we found the balloons 🙂 It was such a hectic weekend, trying to squeeze in shooting time between Sarah’s PhD hooding ceremony and all the other Cornell Commencement events, but we managed it!

When she saw her proofs, Sarah was so exited she decided every single shot was a keeper. That was one long editing queue, let me tell you! But all the pictures turned out fantastic and I’ve put together a tiny selection below. Hope you enjoy it.
