Boudoir What To Expect

So, boudoir shoots. You, like, get naked and they point a giant light at you and a whole team takes your picture while you shiver there? Nope. It's small and intimate and easy going, it's just me and you, you can dance to your favorite songs if you want to, and you get kick ass images back! Keep them for yourself to look at what an awesome goddess you are, or make a sensual, naughty gift for Valentine's Day or an anniversary for your significant other - the choice is yours. I know it can feel weird and different and like such a huge step outside your comfort zone - this is the case for the majority of folks I photograph and totally normal - the process is designed with that in mind and structured to offer you support with tips and guides along the way. I've been specializing in boudoir photography since 2014, and have compiled this list of questions and answers based on everything I've stumbled upon over the years as experiences with real world clients, in order to make your shoot a smooth, fun filled day. You'll also see this knowledge reflected in the getting ready guides you'll receive as part of the process. And lastly - you'll notice that a lot of the answers say it's up to you - and that's true. While I will offer guidance and suggestions along the way, there are no right or wrong ways to do this, because a boudoir shoot is a very personal experience, so you have the power to tweak this to your comfort level.
