What do I get from my shoot?

You will receive a set number of fully edited, full resolution digital images, accompanied by a limited print release. There will be no logos slapped on your photos and you’re welcome to share ¬†them on social media, over email or text. The print release allows you to also print them in whatever size you wish to gift family members or hang on your wall.

Is there something I can’t do with my finished pictures?

The images cannot be edited or altered, including applying filters, as they will no longer be representative of my work. The limited release does not cover commercial usage of the images, so you cannot sell them or use them on products for sale. The full rights to the images always remain with the photographer.

What happens with the rest of the pictures?

You’re welcome to pick as many of your images as you’d like past what’s included in your package for an additional fee per image. The package just gives you a base number to get you started, I don’t love the option to do a session fee so you leave and have no images at all. All the good images from your shoot will be included in your proofing gallery so you can pick as many as you want.

Can I just get the unedited images for free?

You can think of your photography session like getting a beautiful cake from a cake decorating shop – there are eggs and flower and sugar that go into it, but also the skill and talent of the cake decorator. The editing part of my process is just like frosting and decorating a cake – a great batter is needed to have the perfect sponge, but it’s only half of the finished product. Giving someone the unedited images would be like giving them just a bowl of cake batter – it’s just not the finished product I offer.
